My name is Albie. I’ve been online marketing since 2012.

My first year I lost every dime of investment money I had saved. I was scammed over and over again.

It took me years to figure out the basics (they’re out there) and since I have made $1000’s online. I’m not by any means a rich guru and honestly am still learning…

I’ve been mentored by top earners and I realized that even with them by my side, they still could not take all the maturity and years of experience and put it magically into my brain!

That’s why persistence

and

personal development are so important!

I want to share with you a book that changed my life. It’s called the Twelve Pillars by Jim Rohn.

He said: What You “become” directly influences what you “get”.

Jim Rohn said “Become a millionaire for what it makes of you to become that.

You see, what it makes of you is more important than the money. You must also like what you become.

I mean, Judas got the money, got the success but wasn’t happy with who he had become in betraying Jesus.

Don’t compromise your values in the process. You will regret who you become.

Money cannot be the end to all. “He who loves money never has enough.”

You will die rich but unhappy.

Not only will you be happy with yourself if you keep your values but should you lose the million dollars (which happens) then you have become the kind of person who can make it back.

You have no doubt heard of the person who won the lottery but couldn’t keep the money because they had not become the kind of person who knew what to do with it.

In the Bible it says that the servant who is faithful with little will be given more.

So be faithful with what you have. Make a profit from it and keep increasing your earnings. Study how to make more earnings and continually become the person who can not only handle what you have but who will do something valuable that will help others besides yourself.

If your final goal is to give back in greater quantity to what God originally gave you, then this has been a worthy goal.

However some people see negativity in being a sales person. Sales is everywhere in life if you really think about it.

For instance when you were young it might have been the sale of influencing your parents to get you a new video game.The sale of influencing a boss to hire you. The sale of influencing a man or woman to date you. You see! Sales does not have to be negative. But sales can be negative if you’re manipulating others.

Being truly Influential has these two traits:

a) Honesty

b) Talent

The tools of influence are having honesty and talent.

Having honesty means that people believe you as truthful and therefore reliable.

Having talent means that people respect you as someone who knows what they are doing.

If you can master becoming a person of value and honesty,

you will have the influence to make sales.

First have a look around. Have you noticed how much influence your friends have on you? 

What do your friends have you doing?

What things are they encouraging you to see, what books are they encouraging you to read?

Who are your three closest friends? Are they helping you to be successful in your your life’s journey?

Jim Rohn believed highly in achieving your goals. Here are three basic ways he explained how to do this:

1) Write down what your goals are! While you’re doing this, I would suggest writing down one each day, either a 5 – 10 year goal, 1 year goal or a 3 – 6 months goal. Write down one a day till you get to 100. Why 100? Because each day you write down a goal, you will be helping your mind focus on your success.

2) Achieve your goals by having more influence:

Influence is created by having superior skill and by people trusting you. In order to have superior skill, develop your skills each day. In order for people to trust you, become a person of honesty and integrity.

3) Achieve your goals by making more money.

Make more money by using this formula:

“Profits are better than wages.”

Remember that you can always increase your profits in your own business

but you can not always increase your wages at a job.

You can increase your profits by getting better,

by finding better wholesale prices,

by getting more customers or all of the above.

Jim Rohn used to talk about nurturing your relationships like a garden: you have to keep working on them or the “weeds” will grow. This is also true with your health and your business too. 

I want to impress on your mind the idea of “Consistency with your work. Sometimes people fall out a program just because they have no consistency.

You will notice that many things are not easy and that success is built one day at a time and that it takes time. This is a fact: If you have a passion to change your lifestyle, you will succeed. But anything less than that will fail. And having a passion with consistent effort will eventually pay off.

Jim Rohn said it best: “What’s easy to do {your daily consistent effort in your business in this case} is also easy not to do.” And that is one reason why people fail: They stop being consistent.
